“My brother has a seven-month-old son and I found the experience of looking after the little chap, just for an afternoon, surprisingly dem-anding,” says Stevenage-born Ed, 23, who plays Chuck Bass in the hit ITV2 show.

This is all I’m going to post on the matter. I don’t like posting rumors & all of the other articles I have seen about it have been just that. So… here is the only thing that I will post about it…..yet again.

The real-life love story of Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr could give the “Gossip Girl” characters a run for their money.

After a messy breakup, an attempt at being friends, and a flurry of wrong rumors, the duo has raised eyebrows yet again.

The latest gossip claims the two have reconciled, since they were spotted all over each other at Lollapalooza last weekend.

But reports of full-fledged coupledom are a little premature, Gossip Cop has learned.

“Things are moving in the right direction,” says a source close to Szohr, who acknowledged the pair had problems, but says “they are hanging out,” and working on “moving past it.”

But “things change from week to week,” admits the Szohr confidante.

A pal of Westwick tells Gossip Cop, “They’re hooking up,” but they are still “not [officially] together.”

Friends of both say it’s too early to tell whether they’ll eventually get back together as a couple, but for the time being they are enjoying each other.

So don’t plan on getting anything off a registry anytime soon for these two.

Ed Westwick has revealed his greatest fear is ending up alone.

The actor shot to fame playing arrogant rich teenager Chuck Bass in popular American television series Gossip Girl. He has been in an on/off relationship with his co-star Jessica Szohr since 2008, but the pair are believed to have recently split for good.

Ed says he enjoys being in a relationship and likes the closeness that comes with being in love. Although the star is happy to date for now, he hopes he will one day settle down with the right woman.

“My worst nightmare is having nobody that loves me. But at least I always have my mum,” he joked in an interview with television show The Hot Desk.

The 23-year-old hunk claims he is a good boyfriend and does his best to make people happy. However, he admits he sometimes speaks before he thinks and upsets the opposite sex without meaning to.

“What’s not to like about me? I don’t know,” he said. “Maybe if you stick around with me for a little bit you probably won’t like me so much. We all have our flaws and our downsides haven’t we? I guess I can say the wrong thing from time to time.”

Later in the interview Ed was asked about filming love scenes with older actresses in Hollywood. The star was given a scenario where he had to call, send a text message to or reject Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston and Cameron Diaz.

“I wouldn’t bother with Jennifer Aniston, I would probably call Cameron Diaz and I think Angelina Jolie would be a little bit intimidating, even for me, so I would just send her a text,” he revealed. “Maybe I would even reject Angelina, because I don’t want to be messing about with 25 kids and stuff.”

Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick told reporters that a tattoo he had inked on his upper right arm about a year ago really bugs his mom. “It’s a topless lady. My mother hates it,” he laughed.

While promoting the upcoming Sept. 13 premiere of Gossip Girl, set in Paris, Ed said of his folks, “They’re pretty proud, I think, except [for] the tattoo. [I’m the] black sheep of the family.”

Ed, who surprised onlookers at the CBS/CW/Showtime party on Wednesday night by wearing a very deep v-neck tee shirt — and showed up in a wool stocking cap to Thursday’s press conference, said about his real life fashion sense, “I’m different from [my character] Chuck Bass, I have to say. [His] suits get a little bit annoying. [I’m] sweating [in them].”

Another of Ed’s secrets? The British actor, who was visiting L.A. to promote Gossip Girl this week, said his favorite place to go in the city is Johnny Rockets burger restaurant.

“I’m a huge fan of Johnny Rockets and my dad is, as well, so whenever we’re here we go to Johnny Rockets as much as we can. Milkshake and burgers. Love ‘em!”
